          Dr. Thiwawan Thepha is a Registered nurse and Midwife. She has been the lecturer of faculty of Nursing, Khon Kaen university since 2007. She has experience in midwifery educator more than 10 years. She is being the member of “The Nurses’ Association of Thailand”. She completed her PhD at the University of Aberdeen, United Kingdom in 2019. Her PhD title is “Six-Month Exclusive Breastfeeding Intervention Model in Northeast Thailand”. Her research focuses on breastfeeding, the impact of social media to the effectiveness of breastfeeding, natural birth, antenatal care, postpartum care and etc. She experts in, quantitative research, especially Q-method and Multidimensional scaling, qualitative research, and also mixed method (Concept mapping). She has international publication in SCOPUS, ISI, and also, in Thailand, TCI.  She has nearly a hundred citation in publication and peer review.

          Asst. Prof. Dr.Nilubon  Rujiraprasert is an educator and nurse-midwife. She is working as instructor for Midwifery since 1992. In 2019, she completed her PhD at Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University, Thailand. She was involved in curriculum development and teaching for the Master of Nursing Science (Midwifery) program, FON, KKU over 10 years. She also has experiences with several collaborative international health programs and research in maternal and newborn health/midwifery and nursing. Her research interests include adolescent reproductive health, nutrition during pregnancy, preventing and management of high risk pregnancy, gender-based violence, and gender and health. She is a reviewer of Thai nursing journals.

Name :Asst. Prof. Dr. Somjit Muangpin

          Asst.Prof. Dr. Somjit Muangpin is educator and researcher on nursing and midwife at Faculty of Nursing Khon Kaen University (FON, KKU). She is head of the Master of Nursing Science (Midwifery) program and a head of research cluster on Reproductive Health Research & Midwifery Education. Her interdisciplinary research programs focus on breastfeeding including promoting, protecting and supporting, developing the fast track model toward reducing the maternal mortality, preventing and nursing managing preterm labor, postpartum hemorrhage and management, the referral system and management for a high risk pregnancy, and Covid-19 on pregnancy and breastfeeding.

 

She is a reviewer of the International Breastfeeding Journal, and the Thai nursing journals. Dr.Somjit, a consultant, supports the academic learners and healthcare professions for conducting researches and nursing services. She is also a committee of the Breastfeeding Nurse Association Thailand.

          Dr. Somsakhool Neelasmith is a lecturer and registered nurse and midwife which is certified by Thailand nursing council. The experiences of being a clinical nurse for a period of times contributed her to provide humanize care for mothers and her family. To encourage well -being for the reproductive population especially adolescent, she conducted a study of family practice for prevention of adolescent pregnancy on her doctoral study.  Her background of interested are reproductive health and maternity development, adolescent pregnancy, and breastfeeding.

          Dr. Nittaya Panngam is an educator and researcher on nursing and midwife with a clinical background in delivery and obstetric area at territory healthcare unit. She has combined these areas of expertise to educate and research in the areas of breastfeeding promotion, developing the scale involving Covid-19 in pregnancy, and community engagement in maternal and child health. Her research interests are community participation of maternal and child health, breast feeding promoting system, system management among high risk pregnancy, with a strong interest in utilizing simulation based learning among midwifery education. Through her role with lecturer and researcher, she has conducted research to inform learning and teaching quality and curriculum design involving utilizing simulation based learning in midwifery practice. She also has a deep insight into not only the ethnography but also critical discourse methodology upon maternal and child health.
          In 2019, she was also an educator and trainer for the program “Developing the fast track model toward reducing the maternal mortality” supported by UNFPA, TICA, and FON KKU.

          Mrs. KanokwanKulachat is a Registered nurse and Midwife. She is the lecturer of Faculty of Nursing Khon Kaen University since 2019. Her research interests are maternal health literacy, system management among high-risk pregnancy, digital health, with a strong interest in using simulation-based learning in the midwifery curriculum. She has researched to improve the quality of teaching and learning as well as curriculum design that incorporates simulation-based learning in midwifery practice through her roles as a lecturer and researcher.

Her research interest is maternal health promotion, management for high risk pregnancy and improving learning strategy by using simulation-based.

          Miss Pattamaporn Phakaiya is the midwife and lecturer at Faculty of Nursing Khon Kaen University. She has experience in antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care in hospitals in Thailand. During her study for master’s degree, She conducted quasi-experimental research to explore the effectiveness of the intervention to prevent postpartum depression in first-time mothers in a hospital in northeast Thailand. She also had opportunities to participate with research experts in the Division of Midwifery, Faculty of Nursing, Khon Kaen University. For example, the project on the enhancement of practices and teaching abilities in Midwifery in Lao People’s Democratic Republic with the cooperation of the Department of Health Professional Education (DHPE), Ministry of Health, Lao People’s Democratic Republic in 2019, the project of simulation lab in nursing practices in 2019, and the project of fast tract system to support pregnant women in Thailand in 2019.
