Assistant Professor Kittiphoom Phinyo is the head of Family and Community Health Nursing at the Faculty of Nursing, Khon Kaen University. He is interested in research and development for vulnerable people, such as early childhood and elderly groups. Assistant Professor Phinyo led the research program on the Guidelines for the Development of Early Childhood Care Systems by Local Administrative Organization in the Northeastern Region of Thailand with a grant from The Equitable Education Fund (EEF).

Assistant professor Phinyo has also conducted research projects that focus on community participation, such as The Development of a Community Strengthening Model to Prevent Road Traffic Accidents and extensive research on health volunteers.

Associate Professor Khanitta Nuntaboot is the director of the Center for Research and Development in Community Health Systems in the Faculty of Nursing at Khon Kaen University. She has more than 30 years of experience in community nursing, focusing on working with communities, local governments, and government agencies on community health care. She’s also working with a national non-profit organization such as the Thai Health Promotion Foundation on health issues and populations related to children, youth, the elderly, vulnerable groups, the environment, food, tobacco, alcohol, anti-COVID-19 communities, and disasters.

The study of Associate Professor Nuntaboot has an influence on community nursing practice, which improves people’s health and health policy. She has written over thirty books that summarize her findings and has received over 32 research grants.

Associate Professor Wijitra Sena supervises the Occupational Health Nursing Program in the Faculty of Nursing, Khon Kaen University, Thailand. She is the author of Community Nurses’ Health Care for Informal Workers. Her research interests include the use of medical cannabis.

Assistant Professor Lukawee Piyabanditkul’s research interests include noncommunicable illnesses such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and chronic illness in the context of community care, as well as health policy.

Assistant Professor Piyabanditkul also serves on the Doctor of Philosophy Program in Nursing Science’s curriculum committee at the Faculty of Nursing, Khon Kaen University. She has supervised students working on the development of nursing innovations and can applying for copyright from the Department of Intellectual Property. She has received over a million baht from University to Tambon (U2T) grants from the central government to bring the disciplines of community nursing to mentors and collaborate with academic and local staff for healthy communities in 13 Tambons, the target area. In 2022, she was named as an outstanding person in academic service by the Faculty of Nursing,Khon Kaen University.

Assistant Professor Nisachon Bubpa is a director of the Master of Nursing Science Program in Family and Community and a member of Nurse Practitioner’s committee. As a registered nurse, she has national and international experience, including roles such as border health nurse, primary health care supervisor, field coordinator for Tsunami-affected migrants and capacity building, founding a national NGO in Cambodia, and managing the Centre for Research and Development in Community Health Systems at the faculty of Nursing, Khon Kaen University, Thailand. She also has experience as a national and international lecturer.
Assistant Professor Nisachon Bubpa’s research focuses on community-based care for older people and the community management system. She has authored several research publications, co-authored over seven books, and won over a million baht in government University to Tambon (U2T) grants to promote community nursing disciplines to mentors and collaborate with the community.

Dr. Arunnee Jaitieng is a lecturer in the Family and Community Nursing Program and a committee member in the Master of Nursing Science Program in Family and Community Nurse Practitioner, Faculty of Nursing, Khon Kaen University, Thailand. Her research focus is on community care systems for families and early childhood, community database systems and health literacy of families with children under 5 years old. She particiapted as a team member of NU KKU-U2T project The Integration of health, economic, and social scaling up at sub-district level, which was granted by the Thailand Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation.
