Doctor of Philosophy in nursing science program (Regular program)

  • Program overview

    The Ph.D. in Nursing is designed to prepare its graduates for leadership roles and research careers in academic institutions, health care industry, and government and private organization focusing on health care. Students in the Ph.D. in nursing are educated through seminars, tutorials, and independent research. The completing of a dissertation and its international publications found major components of the program. During the study program, students are allowed to do research practicum under supervision of experts and theirs advisors both in Thailand and oversea. International students in the Ph.D. program are encouraged and supported to conduct thesis research in their own cultural context and to critically identify some similarities and differences with that in Thailand.

  • Aims

    The program objective is to develop scholarly researchers with advance nursing knowledge who will become leaders in nursing research.

  • Program Requirement

    Program 1.1: Research only, Program 2.1: Research and course work
    - A Master of Nursing Sciences or health science with GPA not less than 3.00
    - Experience about research
    - English Proficiency TOEFL 500, IELTS 5.5
